Gorilla v Guerrilla

What’s the difference between gorilla and guerrilla?

Gorilla is the animal, the great ape. People usually don’t misspell or misuse this form of the word when writing about the animal. The confusion comes when referring to “gorilla warfare,” which, unless you actually mean a group of gorillas fighting, is incorrect.

A guerrilla is a member of a small independent group fighting against larger, regular forces.
